Denmark to increase online gaming tax to 28%

The Danish government has agreed to increase the online gaming taxes to 28% on Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR).

We have previously carried this cost ourselves, but in order for our affiliate deals to remain viable, we need to share this cost with our partners going forward. The new taxes will be reflected in the commission calculations under our Betsson Group Affiliate platform for the brands Casino.Dk and NordicBet.Dk on top of our standard admin fees for processing costs and licensing fees.

The new gaming tax will come into force on 1st January 2021, for the above-mentioned brands.
